Camp Krem, a beautiful rustic summer camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains is seeking a Registered Nurse for their upcoming 2010 season. Since 1957,the non-profit Camping Unlimited program has offered recreation and summer camp programs for campers with disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism or with physical and or emotional differences.
Located 20 minutes from Santa Cruz and about 60 miles South of San Francisco, Camp Krem is set in a spectacular location surrounded by majestic redwoods. The camp property has ten cabins, an arts and crafts center, an 84,000 gallon, specially designed swimming pool and a large dining hall/multi-activity center. Also at the facility is a camp fire arena, a wooden playground, miles of hiking trails, several outdoor camping areas and infirmary.

Job Description: Camp Nurse:
The summer camp nurse is the primary care giver in a rustic camp for children and adults with developmental disabilities. The nurse supervises health and cleanliness standards, obtains and maintains health records as required for state and accreditation agencies, performs health screenings, administers medications, responds to emergencies, and administers first aid. This position reports to the Executive Camp Director.

Salary: DOE plus (separate private living quarters attached to infirmary).
