Help Desk Engineer - Outsourced Services (Auckland)

Following an internal promotion we have a vacancy for a Help Desk Engineer for our outsourced service on a client's site.

- Viaduct Basin Location

- Customer Service Focus

- Latest Technologies

- Parking

Our client operates through New Zealand and the Help Desk Engineer will need to demonstrate solid technical knowledge across Citrix and Microsoft networking and desktop technologies and experience in servicing users remotely.

While product and technical knowledge is very important, we are interested in receiving applications for in this role from candidates who can demonstrate the following abilities and competencies:

Answering phone calls, listening and questioning effectively.

Interpreting and solving problems.

Providing technical support and keep track of problems and resolutions.

Applicants should expect help desk interview questions that explore these competencies:

communication skills

customer-service orientation

problem-solving ability

the ability to adapt to different demands

stress tolerance
