Hydraulics Repair Technician

Do you have a successful track record in hydraulics repair? A Mid-Missouri facility is seeking a person familiar with Fluid Power Technology to join their growing team. Returning Military Veterans encouraged to apply!

If you are a Hydraulic Repair Technician and have at least three years of experience in repairing hydraulic-driven machinery and are looking for your next step in your career path, this could be the opportunity for you.

Duties Include:
Observes and tests operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices to verify repair
Visually inspects hydraulic lines and components to detect leaks, damage, and wear
Disassembles hydraulic system and removes and replaces defective actuator, pump bearings, and pump motor
Replaces worn or damaged hydraulic components such as oil lines, fittings, cylinders, servo-valves, pressure release valves, gaskets, and seals
Cleans, lubricates, and adjusts parts, equipment and machinery
Reads pressure gauges to detect abnormal oil pressure and smells to detect overheated oil
Turns valve to release pressure from hydraulic system and disconnects hydraulic supply and return lines.
Removes and replaces defective accumulators. Connects charging assembly to accumulator and fills accumulator bladder with nitrogen gas to recharge accumulator
Performs routine maintenance such as changing filters
Installs hydraulic oil lines on new and refurbished machinery and equipment

Requirements
Certification in fluid power field (preferred)
Proven work experience
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulic cylinder repair
